Local jihadis I guess would be my target market.

If it's for Halal, you have to choke the chicken first I think.

If you want to package chickens I think there are a lot of H&S regs to follow.

    Cottage Industry

    <ScottishProperty locale="PropertyScottishProperty">2</ScottishProperty>

Has anybody ever stated a small scale operation from their domestic premises with a view to growing it to a viable business?

I'm thinking in the first instance would it be possible to keep things sufficiently under the radar so as not to attract the attention of the authorities and so therefore not need to pay business rates and such like.

I have a very large chicken shed over the back and I'm considering staring a packaging business with some plant I've acquired from a local factory.

    Anybody done anything similiar?
