Is there some other weather radar page that shows cloud cover v clear sky?

Surely that isn't too much to ask in this day and age.

Good stuff. Think I shall fly to Germany so I can fart on the Scots. Now I can sit and watch clouds all day, step up from my usual pastime of staring at the wall all day.

PS Saw an IE thing I hadn't noticed before. Tools/Add site to start menu. Then drag to desktop.

not at all, they have to make an effort to make the clouds disappear.
Clutter in radar is a problem, so you have to identify moving targets and eliminate the rest. Cloud would be slow moving, so it's possible to allow the signal through. It's not perfect, but it's good enough

a radar is basically an eyeball, at a different frequency
