Could possibly be a good agency, manager asks for them to put the spec up, get the CVs in and over the next couple of weeks for the agency to sort out the wheat from the chaff and only send him those who are suit(y)able
-
More like he sends the agent the details, adding "Don't put it up for two weeks though, as I'm going on holiday. I'm only sending it to you now so you can move ahead with it straight away once I'm back." The agent just goes "Uh-huh, uh-huh" throughout and puts the details up anyway because he didn't actually listen to a word the hiring chap was saying.Originally posted by suityou01 View PostAh yes, but what kind of numpty calls an agent on Friday and says "Hi, can you please bang this one up on jobserve?" and then calls the following Monday to tell them to put the role on hold as they accidentally forgot their 2 week holiday?

You would really flounce off from one gig to another? That's how you get a reputation.Originally posted by AtW View PostIt's called - get new much better contract whilst being in a good contract.
You really are not cut out for this contracting malarkey?
Stay until the job is done, get a good reference and look for the next gig.

I'd have said exactly the same thing if I received a CV from a certain Charlie BS.
