Mainly around here because there are normally cars parked across it

It depends on the service. But cyclists are not entitled to knock into other people.

It just needs everyone to be understanding and there is space for all of us....

If the cycle path is well maintained and suitable for use then cyclists will use it. Cable Street gets 100% usage rate.

Often it is poorly maintained. Or terminates at every minor side turn.

Utter tosser - aside from being wrong - I had pressed the button ages beforehand, even if I had just pressed it, so #&%@ what - cyclists don't have any divine rights never to have a red light in front of them.

A pity you did not. 9 months before he was born....

You probably just killed his Strava KOM attempt , at least he stopped.

The little ramp up to canary wharf has its very own Strava KOM race.

So I complained to TOC and they were useless. Same thing happened again week later. So I had a go at TOC again - they said they'd told staff but it took time to filter through. Another cacophony as he gets his bike onto the train though there isn't another rack for it so he just leans it against another bike. In doing this, he obstructs the single bucket seat in the corridor which some old bloke had been eyeing up. Old bloke moves bike to one side to get to seat, bike falls over & there's a torrent of abuse from cyclist "You've got to be f****g joking, are you stupid or what?"

Don't know if he was a lefty like no. 1 but he had one of those helmet cams so he's probably scouring the streets looking for footage of somebody rolling a fag in a traffic jam so he can send it in to the police.

Older cyclist approaches lane one, goes up to the red lights, goes past the red lights, looking round, all clear, so goes through (to left bit of Y). I was livid, if I hadn't been due to meet for a family meal I would've swapped into Lane 1, caught up with him and given him some abuse out of the passenger window "Excuse me, I think you missed the red lights back there at that huge junction.. F*&ker, why do you think the rules of the road don't apply to you?"

As it was I went on my way but these "Militant Cyclists" really wind me up, and they seem to be getting a higher percentage of all cyclists too giving them a bad name.
This belongs in Angry Motorist thread IMO
