Late last Christmas Eve someone - I've no idea who - stopped at the side of the road for a pee, saw another human being in despair, chose to do something and in a nutshell that's why my darling son is still alive.

Last distressed person I mumbled "You OK?" at didn't give the anticipated "yes" response. So I ended up being agony aunt to a weeping woman for over an hour on the train home. Edit: She didn't ask for a shag though.
