Fair enough. Let's leave the political bollocks for one of the many other Jockland threads out of this thread which is about a politician from Jockland.

I don't think he would have mentioned it if he hadn't been asked directly about it. It's what the MSM do, look for an angle to cause outrage to sell papers.

It's not often you're right but you're wrong again. Bateman is a journalist and not a member of any political party.

Oops, this is where I come in. Cue music…I’m one of Salmond’s Stormtroopers. No really. Yes, read that again. A blogger, not a member of the SNP, who disagrees with Salmond on NATO and on currency, who expresses widely-held doubts about the impartiality of public sector presenters is (in Brian’s Wookie World) a Stormtrooper,

Salmond clarified his comments because they were being misinterpreted by the stupid unionists who can't understand what he says due to being idiots.

If anything the treatment of Charles Kenndedy just shows our appaling treatment of people with mental health problems, so we should show compassion to Salmond

Indeed. Though I am reminded of the not the nine o'clock news sketch where 2 politicians are saying they hate each other. Until one dies and the other is saying nice things about him.

I am sorry he is dead. But I am not keen on drunkards. I will always fondly remember his HIGNFY performances though - really funny.

A thug? I've never heard of him lift his hands to anyone. In sure the MSM would have reported anything like that
