    It's not so much the polls as it is how they are spun. The overall trend is the two major parties are neck to neck.

    Without bothering to read any of the stories, I would just point out that, theoretically, one party could be in its strongest position for x years and another party y points ahead of them, if during those x years, the difference of the second and first party's ranking had always been greater than y.
