There is no correlation between people who joined <1 month ago, have 21 posts, who post as if they have been here for 43 years and a sockie.

He'd just need to use another dodgy accountants as a front, I've seen it done where another established small firm signs off accountants for a firm where everyone there is either unqualified or struck off

Mrs Upton, now going by the name Smith, is running accountancy businesses

TINA LOUISE SMITH director information. Free director information.

She was, IIRC, an innocent party in this mess.

Curious that, not that anyone would ever think it's a blatant sockie.

I'd assume that after "paying his debt to society" by serving his time he will expect to return to his former profession (accountancy, not the defrauding people one), there's bound to be a firm that will take him on in some capacity.

You take a close eye on the directors should you decide to change accountants anyway, don't you?
Of course I do due diligence, still been stung by an agency default once though

I've been on the other side though, I started off working in Accountants and kept leaving firms with dodgy practices

Part of that was helping businesses in that kind of situation by using secretaries in the accountants as Directors for companies that have had issues like that, hence why I wasn't happy about it

started a topic Talking of Darren Upton...

    Talking of Darren Upton...

    And looking on DuckDuck go.

He went down on 9 Feb 2012 for 6 years.

I would imagine that he'll be out soon if he kept his nose clean whilst on the inside.

(His name was mentioned in the Accounts/Legal forum.)

Working...
