The Eagle (or should that be Die Adler) has landed...Pretty bollocksed but life goes on. There's an Irish pub just up the road and a microbrewery just along from it. A nightcap to get me to sleep...
Interesting flight, the first time I've ever heard them ask if there's a doctor onboard! Apparently a baby was pretty sick so they got permission to land early (warp factor 9) although we had to wait for the paramedics to take him/her off before we could all disembark.
Food was good, Crayfish salad followed by Ravioli filled with Truffel and some kind of curd/rhubarb/strawberry pudding and a bottle of fine Riesling. Later on was a Linseneintopf...Flight back is Business Plus and is an overnighter so I've got one of those seats that turns into a full bed with intravenous wine

And yes, I really am in the business lounge, unlike some, and I can get a bit tiddely as there's a limo booked for me at the other end...

I knew if I timed my lude intake right, I’d sleep through the entire overnight flight.
At four p.m. I popped a few ludes, which started kicking in by the time I finished our sales meeting. This was the tingle phase.
By dinner I popped a few more on top of some cocktails and an valium or two. The slur phase.
By eight thirty I’d done a few more and pretty much lost my motor skills. This was the drool phase.
And by ten I didn’t know who or what I was doing -- the amnesia phase.
We boarded the plane just before midnight.

Hopefully you're not flying with a US carrier? Get as much red down you early doors then you can have a nice nap after food. Aim to wake up 2hrs before landing so that you can get back on it before the hangover kicks in. You'll arrive late afternoon local time so just push on through until about 11pm, pass out for 8 hours and bingo, no jetlag.
You're welcome.
This has to be the best advice to tackle jetlag I have ever read.
