What's the difference between a drum machine and a drummer?

You only have to punch the information into a drum machine once.

Nah, being the drummer is much cooler than being the bass player, unless you happen to be Lemmy.

How do you tell if the stage is level?
The drummer is drooling from both sides of his mouth.

How can you tell a drummer's at the door?
The knocking speeds up and slows down and he comes in at the wrong time.

What's the last thing a drummer says in a band?
"Hey guys, why don't we try one of my songs?

What's the best way to confuse a drummer?
Put a sheet of music in front of him.

Why do guitarists put drumsticks on the dash of their car?
So they can park in the handicapped spot.

What do you call someone who hangs around with musicians?
    A drummer.

You have Gods greatest gift to man between your legs - and all you can manage is to sit there and scratch it! (Although I think the reference is originally to a Cello)

Seems weird, bass is a cool instrument (and no I'm not a bass player although I'd like to learn once I get better at electric guitar, flute and piano). I thought we were supposed to mock the drummer, not the bassist?

That makes it easy for the post-bass-playing play, as Suity would agree!
