Yeah, amazing, Christians are so forgiving and tolerant. But this sort of image would not have been tolerated only a few years ago. I daresay that even now it could be construed as "inciting religious hatred" and punished with a prison sentence. I wouldn't fancy my chances of publishing this is the US and not have loony Christian's firebomb my house or murder my family.Originally posted by Eirikur View PostThis is not even a cartoon, but a picture you can download from some Christian website.

I told a much older German colleague about political correctness in Luton. How it was frowned on during the World Cup to fly an England flag for fear of offending the ethnic minoritires.
He said if this was the case in Germany, he would fly two flags.

Don't tell him, Pike.
As is pointed out on the pedants' corner of the latest Private Eye.

If history taught them something .....Originally posted by scooterscot View PostBallsy. Definitely ballsy, I gave him a wink & nod and he smiled. I know there's a anti-Islam thing going here in Germany, and I'm no right-wing nutter, far from it. But I've got to admire the Germans for standing up for their beliefs, whether right or wrong. The protests appear peaceful and somewhat staged from what I've read in Der Spiegel.

You mean the religion of peace & head chopping?
Saw a chap walking down the street here in München this afternoon, the t-shirt read.
Don't panic
I'm Islamic
