Yes but the parties all have press offices and people who know and understand how things will play out do deal with these 'opportunities'. Tory poster... cracked roads... actually german.... bingo. Or as the OP said, photoshop a victorian workhouse at the end of the road. This idiot was trying to be clever and is now more royally fcked than a sex trafficked minor*.

*Note to any politicians who may post on here and who might be tempted to like or quote this post - I am deliberately using a news article about child rape to prove a point. So don't. Cos that would be stupid. See.

    Don't the idiots ever learn?

The infamous white van tweet, that contributed to Labour losing a bi-election was hardly more than a month ago.

Labour suspends councillor for sharing parody of Tory election poster featuring Auschwitz death camp
Nottingham councillor Rosemary Healy claimed not to recognise image
Parody was posted by Thomas Pride and retweeted by Labour councillor
She later apologised and has deleted her Twitter profile from the site
this Tom Pride seems a bit of an ignorant feckwit, if it had been a Victorian workhouse it would have been funny.
