    I really really want one but I imagine in reality there's a lot of faffing about like with model planes, and that sounds dull.

    Plus they all seem to work LOS with short battery life and to me the magic would be being able to fly a proper distance rather than drive to the thing you want to send the drone to look at - send it up a river or a mountain to play at being Attenborough.
