Pavements are totally unusable here, they're just ice now. Loads of minor shunts on the roads too, according to my taxi man. I've never known a taxi driver go slowly before. Apparently his insurance is £3.5k a year so i suppose a degree of caution is to be expected

No snow here in Luton, and the medium range forecast has no snow for us up until mid Jan
Then. We just need another 6 clear weeks of no snow and I reckon we've got away with it

No more snow here, but nothing has melted, still have over an inch on the ground and it's bloody freezing. More forecast for tonight.
