    Jedi is only a religion in the sense that people who have watched the films wanted to put it on the census as an official religion. However, in terms of the books and film series, it's not a religion as such.

    The members of the Jedi came from many different ethnic backgrounds (and species).

    I should get out more, but my Darth Vader costume is in the wash.
