You clearly know the market very well, you've really done your research. Well done you.

I bow before your clearly extensive knowledge; the real-world situation that I see/know of in an actual real environment is clearly a figment of my imagination.

Good for you and your limited research on Jobserve. However my knowledge of the topic is based on reality.

My client is crying out for HANA resource but there seemingly aren't enough people out there yet. I guess it is still viewed as something of a niche area so the agents have been desperately putting the feelers out to see who they can get hold of.

I know of another company who has temporarily parked their HANA plans whilst they try and round up a decent enough team.

If that's not hot, then I don't know what you consider hot to be.

And as mentioned earlier, HANA is hotter than a greased fireball right now...but if you had that skillset, I doubt you'd even have the time to post here as you'd be too busy beating the agents off with a large stick (or more like they'd be trying to beat you off, if you catch my drift).[/QUOTE]

And sector. Still seemingly a reasonable amount of work in the traditional modules (MM, SD, etc, i.e., consultancy-type role and not just techie) in both Retail and Manufacturing, but if you're ABAP (I'm assuming so), perhaps not so much.

It depends on your skill set. You need client facing consultancy skills. It also depends on how far you wish to travel. I'm a FICO based in Brussels working Mondays to Friday the UK

    Glad someone else thinks so.
BI might be booming, but if there's less and less employees who's reading all those darn reports?

I've spent some time skilling up.

    You're a techie, right?

Unless you have hands-on experience with SAP mobile solutions, SAP cloud services, or SAP HANA, you'd better have a good Plan B.
