    So I was going to bill for it and that was that. But no! It became a bugbear for a very picky permy manager who ended up asking around and concluding that contractors didn't have to work the extra hour and to go home. This was half an hour into my final hour, so I just billed for the half hour.

    Helps me let off a bit of steam, it's just an online persona so I wouldn't get too hung up on how it makes me feel. I wouldn't be here if it was that bad. You also don't read my posts very well, the OP's want answers, the answers... and more.. are often to be found in the guides and google. I also post a lot of direct links to HMRC and other places of relevance (granted found by google but if I can do it surely the posters can). I really don't believe in wiping peoples arse's for them but if I help then wipe their own and they do so a number of times after then I go to bed a happy, but still grumpy, man.
