    They could also have not chosen you as you are the type that walks around moaning about life being unfair and generally being a difficult person to look after and manage and are using the experience as an excuse to have something tangible to tell you.     Perhaps they want someone who knows Unix and therefore knows the guts of these things rather than just clicking OK and Next.
