started a topic Contracting in Germany

    Contracting in Germany

    Hello,
I am a British Citizen and I emigrated to NZ about 10 years ago.
I no longer have a UK company, but I have been offered a contract in Germany for a maximum of 6 months.

The agency I am with will not create a contract with my NZ company, so I was wondering if anyone knew of what my options were?

I am a resident of NZ.

I would have thought a European type umbrella company would be the answer, but all I have come across are UK based ones for UK contractors.

I'm reluctant to start a company in Europe if I can, as the initial contract is only for 2 months, and might not even get renewed, and my tax rate is fairly low in NZ, compared to European countries.
