can't remember what my contract actually says about payment, but in reality, it is timesheet/invoice by lunchtime Tuesday, money on Friday of the same week. Feckin' great.....and never failed in six months....

Thanks for the replies, the draft contract seems quite good with a single exception where they can vary the agreement and if you don't accept they can terminate immediately.
I said either there is notice or there isn't you cannot have it both ways. The situation I used was where they might change payment terms to 180 days from 7. He agreed it's a bit one sided and will see what they can do.
Let's see.
Thanks again.

Currently using them, in a very strange arrangement, but it's working fine and they are fast payers. No complaints.

To specify a particular forum add site:forums.contractoruk.com/forum-name eg "site:forums.contractoruk.com/business-contracts".
so you would want to put the following in google.
hudson site:forums.contractoruk.com/business-contracts

So don't search General then...Originally posted by tractor View PostAny good? Sample contract seems good albeit with a few necessary changes.
Yes I did a search in the fora and got 10000 pages of clag from General
Had them two gigs back. Very professional, good contract, paid on time via online timesheet. Would have no hesitation using them again.
Didn't get me a follow-up gig though...
