5 mins i can do. But the list of questions they have is never ending. First fishing call took me over 15 mins.Originally posted by northernladuk View PostNot sure what the problem is here? I am quite happy to take some fishing calls from agents. At least I am on their books and radar.
If they have to pester me 15 times and then one day it actually falls right and they help me get a contract then I am quids in.
Rather put up with a couple of 5 min calls from time to time and land a role than not at all.

Bastards,
Got another call from a different branch today. They want to know my availability I mean WTF!? They never talk about actual roles but instead blab on about validating you and finding out when your role will next be vacated.
Buggers

Personally, I contracted through them for 3 years and have nothing but a positive relationship with them.
Prompt payers, weekly 4 days in arrears!!!, Never had a fishing call from them.

Fishing calls from M****
Anybody else recieved some ridiculous phone calls from an agency?
First thing I ask them is: Is there a role?
Answer: No, but we are going to actively seek out clients.
Then they go onto say some bulls**t about needing to validate me (seems to be the most in fashion phrase these days). They need to validate my skillset and speak to ex-managers!
Told them where they could go.
The thing they need to realise is that they are not going to get any trust from us when they blatently lie to us.Tags: None
