I worked in a place like this once.
They even had a "new starter timesheet system induction CBT course" that you had to complete before you could use it.
I 'avoided' it for about 6 months because I was too busy delivering work, and so a junior PMO had to put my time in for me

Last 4 gigs have all had client timesheet systems. Mind you, I've always appeared as "Contractor" on them, not "Employee". What does the system show once you've logged in?

don't sign nuffin, don't use any of the facilities, take your own pens and pencils, climb in through the window to avoid using their carpet and take a mobile toilet and bog roll and make sure your off the premeses before you use it

If you think filling in some numbers on their system is enough to tip the balance as being seen as an employee... then you ARE a disguised employee.

You are not filling it is from the view of you being a permie, you are a project resource and still have to book what time is spent on what for cost tracking. I am sure this would be easy to argue if you got investigated.
