I know - I live in Reading (which before you say anything, is the best town int he country, with the greatest football club in the world residing within it).
I would point out that whilst it might be 25 mins from Paddington, if you've been in the city all day, having walked from paddington (4 miles), and then realise that Waterloo is closer, it actually takes 1hr 20 minutes on the the train. This issue is compounded when you sit down for 5 minutes, and a pigeon comes along and does his business on you.

Ha....haven't had one of these agency calls for a while. Used to get some cockney wide boy agents (MSB International probably) phoning and telling me he had 'the perfect contract' and 'right next to where I live'. When pressed, they would tell you 'It's in Scotland mate'
