I offered to set one up
I can make it non-public so it will not show in the Group Directory - you will have to know the link - prehaps put this on the website here somewhere.
If you then allow anyone to join - you still will not have to idenfity youself with your username here. Or I'll have to approve you joining by checking you are a member here ( can change it to this at any point)
I can do this now.

There is a CUK network. It's behind the scenes and very exclusive but I have already contacted one regular here regarding work. He wasn't able to help but I know who does what and have a list that I would call upon should I need BA's/PM's/developers/testers etc.
So I don't need linkedin - I've made my own network and everything (and everyone) I need is here.
Why am I not on that list Cojak

You are not automatically Linked-In to everyone in the group.
In joining the group you do not have to reveal your C-UK user name, so if I say **** on here, its not traceable from/to my public profile on LinkedIn.
Not wanting to seem tight, but LinkedIn is free.Originally posted by cojak View PostOnly if you join (which I won't be doing).

Just because people have a laugh doesn't mean they can't network and help fellow contractors out surely?Originally posted by PM-Junkie View PostYou serious wish to be professionally associated with the children on these forums???

There goes the luxury of hiding behind a username when you really want to let off steam.

You serious wish to be professionally associated with the children on these forums???Originally posted by Grinder View PostThis was discussed a while back, but using search I cannot see any evidence of one being created.
If agreed, may I suggest putting up a sticky topic announcing the group, and people can join if they want to.
I suppose we could change this to a poll if the forum's enforcers are not convinced its a good idea.
Best of luck with that.
