Still nothing around at the moment.
I have a question, if I wanted to work in the States or Saudi etc, is it easy to get permission.
It seems like they are the places that have As400 contract work and are not as hit by the recession
I had a friend who worked in USA in the early 90's, just wondering.....

My last couple of gigs were by agents picking my CV up off CWJobs.
Agents I'd never heard of - and they got me a gig and paid on time.
Personal Service isn't an issue for me.

The way things are atm I wouldn't be too picky. The best agent is the one who gets you a job.

I'd rather have crap service and a contract than good service and no work...

I work in the AD/Windows space. I had contacted numerous agencies towards the end of last year for jobs posted on CW JOBS/JOBSITE and thier own websites which lead to nothing. Used things like technologyladder - only subscibed to that for a month - useless. The only interviews I got were from agencies calling me and they always said 'I just got your details off Monster' - every last one of them!!
Now have a nice gig in the city from an agent who got my details off Monster.
Don't know why I bothered looking. Just post your CV with the right key words and let 'em come to you.

Hi Thanks for your advice, I have tried Pro Active it seems like there are no AS400 contracts around at the moment.
I keep getting e-mails from CW Jobs etc, but I wanted a more personal service from an agency
