They've often contacted me. Every time the rates are way below what I would expect. The enquiries/e-mails usually end up the trash bucket.

Oh no I'm currently waiting on the possibility of a gig with these, although the rate HAS been agreed and I'm pretty happy with it.Originally posted by conned tractor View PostI tend to refer to them as aggressive rather than progressive.
Actually I'm now at the point where I consider minimum wage as something to be pretty happy about and it certainly beats dole.

I think all their agents are trained to play hardball with contractors but I think they will negotiate if required. It is one of the agencies were I asked them to quote their margin in writing ( ie. an email ) before haggling over my eventual rate. They did and it was the correct margin when I later checked it.Originally posted by DocP View PostYeah, my view is that they always work on a high margin. However they have another agency competing. So they get nothing if I walk.

Part of the lovely S3 group so treat them with caution. However I didn't have any problems with them except the odd squabble and they paid promptly.Originally posted by DocP View PostAnyone dealt with these guys? What sort of cut do they work on?
In my game they take 20% unless you haggle hard.
