The market is seriously frustrating at the moment; just hope the upturn is round the corner.

Well, after things looking quite promising, I'm now less than pleased to report that nothing has come of anything I've applied for so far except for a few phone calls from agents

And just found out this gig is probably going to end early

Yes, real world indeed ............. problem is, usually amongst them there's the odd interview here and there, but not now. It's the lack of interviews that's worrying me.

    Enjoy the holiday!

Project put back nn months - this happened to one of my roles today
Manager gone on holiday - well I am going on holiday tomorrow, so feasible
Can't get a decision - no one responding to your calls, email, texts
Or (my personal favourite) no feedback at all! - most common one when you have to go through HR, who won't chase the decision maker cos they are too busy sitting around discussin the new series of Katie and Peter!

See above, real world stuff unfortunately...

No problems here, I am still getting semi regular calls that seem to be genuine as well (no requests for references, or quizzes about who I'm working for).

Fortunately, Im being extended but I know it can be hard finding a new role. Generally in the north, expect to be out around 8 weeks. Further south, probably less time.
Correct and the agents know I'll work anywhere for the right rate.
