I've had a few contractors who thought they were my boss. They soon came round to my way of thinking, as it helped them deal with the guy who thought he was his boss.

Doesn't apply to me as I'm rubbish at my job and rarely last longer than a month

What other sort of things are they expecting of you, and what is your role in relation to theirs? Are they even connected?

It's full of 'em here. I've only been on the job a short while but others have been years. Some have ducked in and out of the job as work peaked and troughed and at the moment I'd like to be onme of those too. It's long term project and it's a very harsh world out there right now. Anyone wanting to be a brickie building houses right now on £150 a day? Thought not.

Like I care that they've got a new Head of HR. ( Well, I do, cos that means a reorg, which means changes to the systems, which means moolah for me. )
