I thought this was going to be some MS-DOS legacy project!

Hearing a lot about 'single supplier teams' in Government roles. Seems the appetite to have several contractors, from several different vendors, is no longer en vogue.

I wonder if this will make its way into the framework some how.

    Thanks for making this thread.

Shame that it sounds like they are closing down digital specialists to SME.. Always suspected that it's a bit flawed in that agents will answer what they think will get them through and then find candidates..

Digital specialists should always have been about submitting CVs. Not spending hours answering some nonsense criteria. Then civil servants spending hours evaluating.

    DOS 6 / DSP Framework

Just attended a session with the CCS and various suppliers currently on DOS to look at the new frameworks. Thought it might be a good idea to pop a discussion thread up as I'm a bit wary of the changes even though they claim it's only temporary to give breathing space to redevelop the platform.

Key take away seems to be that Digital Specialists will be moved to the DSP framework which will be limited to the top 50 suppliers. Evidencing the Social Value compliance was the biggest concern. It feels like DSP will shut out small companies.

The changes to DOS, other than losing Digital Specialists feel less impactful as they're trying to get it back to being outcomes based, whereas DSP Lot 1 will be more about resource augmentation. However, it's not supposed to be a recruitment agency framework but it feels like it will be.

    What say the learned collective?
