It's "if more than 8 weeks from the end of the placement or 14 weeks from the start".
So, if you been working for the client for more that 14 weeks you can transfer free, Or if you been 'resting' for more than 8 weeks you can go back for free.
Assuming that you didn't opt out of course.

Or if there are no transfer clauses in your contract then you can do what ever you want at the end of it (even though the agents will most likely whinge their titties off! ).
Assuming of course you havent been coerced in to opting out that is!
If going straight perm, then its a percentage of gross salary. 12-30%
If you have been working on a contract basis for less than 8 weeks then according to the employment agencies act then there shouldn't be a fee.

You've got your test the wrong way round.
