Don't presume to tell me how to live, little man.Originally posted by Old Greg View PostI fit in most places. Go with the right attitude and you'll see the best of places.
I've lived and worked in more places than you could imagine, given your limited mental facility.

Everywhere BR14 goes smells of poo, but he never thinks to check his shoes or underwear.Originally posted by Katalyst View PostThen you're truly a poor man to have spent a year there and gotten nothing more than that out of it.
Personally, I thought Zurich was lovely, but it was a pretty brief stay.

in ZURICH? what were you smoking?Originally posted by Katalyst View PostThen you'd be crazy not to. The quality of life there is incredible. The women are beautiful, you can see the Alps from every street in Zurich, the lake is out of this world, and once you get to know the place, the nightlife is outstanding (you need a local to show you around. It's not as obvious as in London).

I know this is a contractor forum but sometimes there are more important things than money. If you are single then go for it, it will be a great experience.

If you leave with the intention of never coming back, then you'll be out of the UK tax system from day 1, with residency partially that tax year in the UK, partially in Switzerland. Otherwise, you are only UK tax exempt of each full tax year you are not resident in the UK.
