All of it. Then it will match to the information the vetting service _already_ have about you.Originally posted by whatdo2019 View PostSo, I had variety of substances (6) in small quantities. When applying how much detail should I provide?

You should be fine as long as you are transparent about it. Let's be honest a lot of society have done drugs at a festival at some point. Doesn't make them a security risk, as long as you aren;t trying to hide it and could be blackmailed over it

nobody knows.
The only way to find out is to apply.
As you say, you do need to be honest about it.
I know people who have obtained SC with far more serious crimes in their history, including some porridge time.

Applying for SC Clearance with a criminal record (3 years)
Hi All,
I've applied for a number of jobs which require SC clearance. Unfortunately 3 years ago I was caught in possession of recreational drugs at a festival where I was charged and fined. Not something I do anymore or did on a regular basis but regardless, will I still be able to obtain SC clearance?
I understand I will have to declare all of the details, which I am happy to do. I will also happily take any drug tests required for the role (or periodically).
Thanks in advance!Tags: None
