It seems that a few clients this year are looking for people with this experience/qualification, so I'm looking for recommendations, I'd prefer classroom training than virtual, prefer NW/Midlands if possible as well. Looking to start with the Yellow & Green belt. The Knowledge Academy seem tick the boxes, cost & location wise, also with guaranteed exam passes.

What line of work are you currently in?

I would add: Look at any PM training as an addition to your existing skills. The PM market is completely saturated at the moment unless you have a niche, and if you have a niche you are probably going to find it takes a while for a matching requirement to surface after a LOT of legwork.

Depending on what your knowledge of the subject is, don't start thinking ahead too far. Most providers offer white belt for free, and while this is holds no real value in terms of finding work, it does offer an introduction to the subject, so you'll be able to get a feel for what's involved, and maybe a feel for whether you have the mind-set for such work. I would do this on-line as opposed to trekking somewhere.

I don't know anything about The Knowledge Academy, but as far as provider is concerned, you need to consider the quality of the training, what support is offered throughout the training, and what it gives you in the end. Is it just a certificate to say you have passed the exam, or is it accredited [IASSC] certification? Achieving certification involves passing the exam, and then completing projects where you apply the DMAIC methodology either in the real world, or (if that's not possible) via case studies, so it's not a quick turnaround. For GB, normally 1 project, for BB it's 2. Check out '100% Effective'. I've done a few courses with them & would recommend.
