They are complete clowns though.
It took me a few weeks to get their contract how I wanted it.
They flat out refused until I got senior Client Co senior management involved.
Led to a delayed start, however I would rather things would be as I want them, not what is convenient for them.

Got my current gig through Pontoon. No issues really, Pontoon agent a bit of numpty, difficult to track down and doesn't answer the phone, but have other contacts in the admin / finance department which is generally fine. They have a lot of contractors on site here, so work on very low margins, I accidentally got sent a copy of their invoice for me when I first started, they are working on 7-8%.
They have lost the contract to supply contractors to current client and everyone is shifting to another supplier in July (mid contract), so someone must be willing to do it cheaper or have given the right person a bung.

Yes I reckon it's data gathering
I'd just finished 2 years at a client where the chain was My co -> Well known agency -> Pontoon -> Client
I then saw Elevate advertising a gig with the same client. I thought how weird that none of the well known agencies are advertising it.
I applied, didn't hear back, and if I log on to Elevate it still says status "Application submitted" instead of saying rejected.

Elevate Direct / Pontoon
Anyone applied for contracts with Elevate Direct?
They use Pontoon?? Never used this before. Kind of thinking this could be a data gathering exercise.
Any thoughts.
Would normally ignore but been on the bench too long, so I'll just blame brexitTags: None
