    The taxi rank at Manchester Piccadilly is terrible. I usually end up getting the Metrolink and asking the enemy to pick me up from the station instead.

    Ill bet the permies had one or two things to say about you being chauffeured to the office on your first day.

    I use Uber, app is a doddle to work and half the price of the Black Cabs at the station (twice I have got a Black Cab from the station home and had to direct the cabbie both times on how to get me home), Uber every time for me now.
