    Yes, interviews are very much a "fire and forget" situation. You do the interview and then you move on to the next role of interest until you have an offer and a signed contract.

    Absolutely this!! Hit the nail on the head. Work on the basis until you are sitting at the clients desk on the first day you have nothing. You don't get paid on promises and potentials.

    Also people get hung up about feedback from agents, both believing what they say which I dispelled a few posts ago and also get angry the agent doesn't give them feedback. If the agent wants you they will be all over you, if they don't then no amount of feedback will change anything.

    Interview and move on. If a gig pops up happy days. If not you are already on to the next ones.
