Worked at NHQ about 2 years ago and would go back, not a problem working there but always loved the wharf

Company policy to enforce 1 day a week working from home, or so I've heard. (can't see many people objecting to that, except the homeless maybe!)

Same as everywhere else - it depends which area you land in.
Their recent spate of hiring-my-mate has surfaced IT projects in trouble so musical chairs has begun in certain areas already - and in the wharf generally.

They are doing a lot fo regulatory work at the moment but I think all banks are now doing this. Of course all of this depends on your ultimate manager. A good manager can really make a world of difference to a project

Anyone with recent experience with HSBC (Canary Wharf) here? How is/was your experience? How is the work culture? Working hours? Work from home? Do they cut rates like Barcap?
