I got a free diary at Xmas of contracting year 1, i.e. 2007.
Since then I have had a couple of coffees.

Agents are replacing their expensive ex Carphone Warehouse NMW resourcers with contractors who know people. It's cheaper.Originally posted by CloudWalker View PostI'm getting lots of emails for jobs that have nothing to do with my profession.
But what makes me laugh is when they add at the bottom,
"If know know someone who can do this job I can offer iPad’s or cash of up to £2000 for any successful candidates placed!
Do people really believe this? Has anyone ever got a freebie for an agent ?
I got a calendar several years running from a few agents. I treasured them.

A rather nice meal + a few drinks at decent restuarant in Manchester from probably the only decent pimp I've gigged through (2 occasions).
Took a while to get it out of them, mind.
And a cake.
