I was going to say something similar, I do remember this from my school days that cattle and sheep do not graze the same hence why there are sheep on the Welsh hills etc etc. I am surprised at DEFRA being so ill informed.

I saw that story too. I think he's missing the obvious that the type of land sheep are reared on is not always suitable for cattle. I've lived in the countryside for 5 years now ..... I'm an expert*
