I'm not really worried about Brexit. The country is slowly going down hill and that will continue in or out of the EU. Ryanair can cope. They have other countries outside the EU.

No, I'm worried about Original. What does he do? Maybe he's out of work. He's on here rather a lot for a working man. But how can he hold down a job if he completely lacks logical thinking capability and seems most of the time to have short-term memory loss, answering questions that were never put to him. Do the admins have next of kin contact details?

It’s telling the truth that businesses are preparing for Brexit, based on how well the expect the UK govt can negotiate and plan.
If those in leadership who supported Leave were able to give positive signals that they had a clue where they were taking the country, or that they had run scenarios to consider outcomes, then businesses would have an idea of the country’s direction.

Original, you are so difficult to follow. If your colleagues around you leave to find alternative employment maybe there is a reason

I really can't see your logic, Original. The problem here is you and your friends have potentially (we don't really know yet) taken away the flexibility of using UK cabin staff in an EU context. However the flip side is you have taken away the flexibility of using EU cabin staff in a UK context (again potentially). Whether they can use more East European cabin staff or not rather depends on how many of them have (will have) UK rights (it looks like Ryanair are primarily thinking about UK-based assignments).

If you are involved in projects that kick off with out any real design, without any real business requirements, without any real systems analysis, without any outline technical solutions, without any realistic plan/schedule and run by a bunch of thick idiots with no relevant experience and the collective concentration of a gold fish then you wouldn't be surprised if many, many business problems like this arose.

Yes, those are the people who voted to leave the EU.

Now, what about those of us who don’t want barriers?

That's nice and all but like when you work on projects there are always some people who claim it cannot be done and the old way is the only way.

They are generally the ones who end up looking for alternative employment at the end of the project...

Now let me ask you one last question - do you think Ryanair are doing this for any other reason than to take advantage of cheap Eastern European labour?
