    This will be the abortion and same sex marriage issues.

    If there is no Assembly then it falls to Westminster to take the decision, which is set to legalize both on Oct 21st. The DUP are fully against this but have no way to prevent it without the Assembly being in session.

    It isn't about trying to restart the Assembly in order to move NI forward and get the devolved administration working again, it's a narrow party political stunt to try and placate their voters.

    Nothing is more important to the DUP than ensuring that Northern Ireland is aligned with Great Britain.

    Except where it doesn’t want to be.
