I suspect that their efforts will make No Deal more likely, because the EU has absolutely no reason to take Boris seriously if they think he's about to be thwarted.
If the thwarting fails, there will be very little time left indeed, so little that I think that No Deal becomes inevitable. All the EU's fault of course . EDIT, and Hammond's.
