    This. Both sides said so during the campaign, and it was in the £9m Leaflet. MPs seem to be confusing the "Leaving" bit with the future relationship, and I would be happy if that future relationship included some sort of Customs Union, perhaps even EFTA, but we have to leave the EU first.
    The EU were quite savvy in separating the two negotiations, knowing that something like this current chaos was quite likely. MPs have made it much easier for them by voting away our only serious negotiating chip. May's Treaty is terrible, and everyone knows it. How "deliberate" this is, is anyone's guess.

    So all our trade has to abide by the regulation, so rest of world trade needs to implement that regulation. And you have no say in it.

    Also the usual democratic arguments apply blah blah.

    That sounds like you have a reason for voting against it in a second referendum. However it is still leaving the EU. A list of EU members contains the UK but not Norway. Let the people decide.
