    Given that he's resigned from UKIP, and now has a lucrative media career, I doubt he's that bothered about not being an MEP.

    There is a slight problem with a second referendum. Due to the time that it will take to arrange, it means that the UK will probably have to take part in the upcoming European elections in May unless they can get it through before then (doubtful.) As the UK would still be a member of the EU at the time, then European law states they have to provide a vote for EU citizens in those elections. The only people who would be happy are Kipper MEPs on the gravy train which is probably why Farage is slowly coming round to the idea of a second referendum
