PosterBhouy is somewhat abusive but don't knock this. He and his fellow Brexiteers provide a valuable service in their own way. It's like your smoke alarm flashes every now and again. It may seem pointless but it is reassuring - nothing is going wrong. Brexiteers spouting rubbish day-in an day-out similarly helps us be confident that there aren't any previously hidden factors that we sensible people didn't spot at the time.

I guess the only counter argument is we've been going on for so long now and nothing positive has been discovered - not a trace or a hint - that we might as well switch PosterBhouy and his mates off.

Perhaps we continue to tease them hoping their imaginary world, so long battered by reality, will suddenly and spectacularly implode and we can relish the resulting firework display.

We have very open minds. If you'd at least provide an intelligent riposte we could consider it . But in 2 years no Brexiter has provided any plan, any scenario, any rebuttal of the obvious negative consequences.
It should tell you something that the ERG thought for a few days that David Davies, the failed negotiator, would make a suitable interim leader for the Tories.
Why? Because, politically, not one of them wants to be leader now when the tulipe hits the fan.
Later on when a suitable scapegoat can be found, Bojo will turn up as the "saviour", no doubt.

    As you were soldier boy.

Only taken you 2 years since the ref and you've finally acknowledged that there are no positives to Brexit. 2 failed attempts at showing positives, and been proven wrong, your 3rd attempt is "QED", confirming that you have demonstrated that there are in fact no benefits. Well done. I bet that's a weight off your shoulders.

Been busy - missed all the fun on this thread.
Not very sporting though, a bit of overkill methinks: it's like firing a shotgun at a very slow, very stupid carp in a barrel.
    A tad unnecessary.

It's not just you PosterBhoy. There is a constant stream of examples of actual situations that would be detrimental to the country and its citizens. By contrast, ignoring vacuous statements involving nothing more than a load of anodyne abstract nouns strung loosley together, the Brexit camp have been strangely silent.

It's like sitting in an anechoic chamber for us remainers, waiting for inspiration from you big picture fellows. We can hear absolutely nothing apart from our own breathing.

    Eerie!

I never claimed the pound was strong. You felt the need to add that gormless conclusion into the mix, presumably to try and help your rather weak argument. That is the problem simpletons like you struggle with. You feel a compelling urge to twist what is said to fit with your inflexible narrative that refuses to consider any other outcome than national carnage.
    I blame your parents.

No, I was just pointing out that as soon as there is any sign of some certainty, sterling will rally and then we can get down to business.
That was always going to be the case as financial markets hate uncertainty more than anything else. However, following the mandate from the electorate this period of turbulence was inevitable.

Brexiteers understand this, and that is why we are not running around wetting ourselves and gnashing our teeth like most of the Bremoaner fraternity.
It really serves very little purpose other than to amuse those of us that can see the bigger picture whilst we wait for the dust to settle.

    But please.....do continue........

You're not very good at this are you? But please do continue to post so that we can continue to laugh at your ineptitude. Two failed posts in one day to 'prove' the positives of Brexit. I'm looking forward to your next attempt
