Yes, that's right, in her mind democracy in the UK is failing so the only solution is to have the country run by an unelected dictator. Not only unelected, but has democratically lost elections 7 times.

That's a good cure for a failing democracy.
Maybe she is hoping he will ban the MMR vaccine.

Soft boiled and rotten eggs are not the eggs we voted for.

Don’t forget workhouses for the poor, getting rid of council houses, and dismantling human rights.

It’s the will of the people.

    Why not send in JRM?
After all, he can speak to them in Latin (you know, that European language which was used in this country when England was invaded by foreigners a couple of millennia ago), he understands the financial side of everything, if he gets a deal that benefits the UK, everyone apart from his investors will be happy, if he gets a bad deal, he can blame the EU and count his profits.

    ...he can't lose.

That can’t be right - EVERYONE knew exactly what they were voting for, so a cabinet-agreed position should be able to last more than a weekend.

Unless what people were voting for was unrealistic unicorns? That can’t be right though, that would be insulting the intelligence of Brexiters.

Another one who is not too sure about the EU either:

He's sobered up enough to remember he promised 'the row of the summer'. He didn't specify which summer.

At least he’s left the DExEU in a far better state then when he started there. Two years later and we have excruciatingly detailed sectoral impact assessments, strategies, white papers, and the minutes from all those detailed and in-depth meetings that he took part in.

Or perhaps Sir Lynton Crosby puts it better

I'd like to say what a pleasure it has been having #DavidDavis as Brexit Secretary

I'd like to say that, but it would be a lie.

Lazy, incompetent, dimwit borderline drunk, out of his depth in a pint pot.
