Just so the facts are right (not that Brexiters let facts get in the way of a good rant), the European Commission want to allow the continuation of phosphates, but it will be going to a vote by the European Parliament - in other words, our democratically elected MEPs will be voting on it and they will be the ones that decide whether or not kebabs need to change their recipe.
But the EU isn’t democratic...

Some are even accusing the EU of "doner discrimination," since some sausages contain phosphates would still be allowed.
