No mention of ignorance or Boorishness, just that they oppose expansion of the Empire and they judge other nations actions in light of the effect they have on Britain.

sounds sensible to me, its not as if the French or Germans or any others of the 27 are particularly altruistic.

Funnily enough, I've been a Tory voter all my life. Except for this year, when I bit down hard and voted Labour; my local MP is one of the few that defied the whip and voted against Article 50 in Parliament.

we don't want any of that over here, seal up the channel tunnel and weld the door shut"

No, I had it right first time.

"Little Englander" is a pejorative term for British nationalists, English nationalists, or English people who are described as xenophobic or overly nationalistic and are accused of being "ignorant" and "boorish".

The USA, China, and the EU between them control over 50% of the world's GDP. Whether the UK is 5th, 6th, in that context is irrelevant. It's like putting an elephant and an ant together and claiming that the ant is the second largest. It's true, but of no consequence except to boost the ant's ego.

Some of us make our own English sparkling wine (although not this year due to wasps destroying most of the crop, instead I'm focused on 15l of cider)

    So back to 2013 then.

All it needs is exchange rates to change, or French to have a strike, and places will be swapped.

More interestingly, India is approaching fast. UK needs to start talking to them.

Or do what they did in 1800. Invade. And they destroy 70% of their GDP over the next 150 years.
