Oh so now instead of "frictionless trade", we'll have workable deal?

    How nice.

    This is classic Assguru.

For months decrying any possibility of a deal, but as soon as the negotiations start to shift towards discussing trade, then suddenly it's the "wrong" sort of deal.

In AssGuru's view ... If unemployment falls it's because we created the wrong sort of jobs. If the economy grows ... it's the wrong sort of growth.

Six months ago he was predicting a recession at the end of 2017. Got that wrong.

Well there you go. The real Thickos are those who thing hanging on to the coat tails of a programme to federalise Europe under the control of Germany (and to a lesser extent France) who will likely bankrupt the other member states to support their new superstate is a good idea.

And you don't think they've put nonentities like Juncker and Tusk in charge to challenge their authority do you?

Brexit may yet be a disaster, although the signs aren't going that way right now. The real but far more probable disaster would be staying in the EU as a marginalised but heavily taxed member like we are now.
