If i have a conversation with someone on the phone and then relay the gist of it, I can do that and if these dumb asses are giving out misinformation thats also not covered. Ridiculous

By all means threaten legal action, but action has to be taken.

    All puff no substance.

If I have an opinion of service I have received from a company and post it on the web, saying I am not happy, they did not send me this information, the sales service was bad, I was told x and y happened. I think there service sucks and I give them 2/10 and it's true!!!! Then f-ck you, Im going to post it for others to see. Threaten legal action for bad publicity by all means, but take it all the way to court, so the judge can agree!!!.

    Ridiculous.

Just because they it say in their online agreement does not make it so.

Their contract is clearly one sided (and thus unfair): "any material or information that you transmit or post to this Website or E-mail to us (your "Non-Personal Information") will be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary. We will have no obligation to you with respect to your Non-Personal Information. By sending such Non-Personal Information to us you agree that we are free to copy, disclose, distribute, incorporate and otherwise use all Non-Personal Information for any and all commercial or non-commercial purposes."

Legality of unsigned T&Cs on websites are highly questionable in the first place anyway.

In any case their actions speak louder than any possible words from conversation could have...

About a month ago (possibly longer) I got an email from somebody connected with Shout99.com. P4 had contacted them and were threatening legal action due to the comments posted on their website regarding P4's use of the dispensation and what they tell would be customers. The fact that they have also contacted contractoruk suggests that they keep a close eye on these forumns. So I'd suggest that everybody is pretty careful in what they say.

At the end of the day, they know that they are not going to convince any of us to join them. What they don't want is for any of our comments to scare off any of their potential customers.

I'd like somebody to get watchdog to focus in on them. That way there would be plenty of mass media coverage.

    Listening ...

If it's on this noticeboard then the Revenue will know all about it. I suspect that they're lining P4 up for a "random" inspection in the very near future.
